Celebrating Women In Construction Week: Courtney Kerchner

As part of Women In Construction Week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on several of the talented women who help make EGStoltzfus successful.

Meet Courtney Kerchner, Coordinator and Selections Manager for EGStoltzfus Custom Homes & Remodeling.

A Decade of Dedication

Courtney has been with EGStoltzfus for 10 years. Her keen attention to detail helps her bring clients’ visions to life, ensuring every selection and decision is just right for their home renovation project or new design-build custom home.

Why Construction?

When asked what she loves most about working in the construction industry, Courtney shared, “It’s all the possibilities that a client can explore, and then seeing those possibilities come to life.”

Watching a construction project go from a virtual plan to a fully realized space is something that continues to inspire her.

From Social Work to Selections

Interestingly, Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in social work. While it might seem worlds apart from construction, her background helps keep her clients’ needs at the heart of their custom home or home remodeling journey.

Beyond the Job

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys reading, music, and concerts. She also loves taking on home projects while being resourceful with materials. There’s nothing like giving new life to a special space!

Favorites

When it comes to football, Courtney’s team colors are purple and black (Baltimore Ravens). And her favorite eating spot in Lancaster, PA is CAVA.

Courtney’s skills and her commitment to our clients have left an undeniable mark on our Custom Homes & Remodeling team! Thank you, Courtney, for all you do and for reminding us how women in construction continue to shape and redefine the industry.
